FAQ.

Generally, in the beginning, I’d recommend 2 or 3 visits in the first month to assess your situation and set goals. After that, we can adjust the session frequency to your needs, typically every two weeks. As you make progress and achieve your goals, we can space out the sessions to help you maintain your achievements and prevent relapses.

The duration of therapy depends on your commitment, task completion, and the severity of your issues. You can stop it whenever you wish; just talk to your psychologist to tailor it to your situation.

Complete the tasks assigned by the psychologist and follow through with your therapeutic commitments. Outside of the session, take notes on your challenges to discuss them effectively during therapy. If you feel like you’re not getting the most out of therapy, talk to your psychologist to address it.

No. Therapy is entirely confidential. Nothing you share with a psychologist can leave that session, except as stipulated by Article 8 of the Code of Ethics of the General Council of Official Psychologists, which states that the psychologist must report violations of human rights (…) of which they become aware in the exercise of their profession.
